Are you ready for 'Start Your Arts Award Day'?

On your marks...

Hundreds of young people will start their Arts Awards on 1 October which marks the beginning of Arts Award’s 10th birthday celebrations.

Centres across the UK - including schools, arts organisations, libraries, museums and clubs – have committed to run activities that will inspire young people to get going with Arts Award.

A new resource is available, especially designed for 'Start Your Arts Award Day', that will support the development of your projects, and provide ideas about how to kick-start your Arts Award activity and celebrate.

The Start Your Arts Award Day resource offers:

  • Examples of engaging, creative ice-breaker activities you can use to launch your Arts Award projects
  • Ideas for how young people can pledge their commitment to Arts Award and the 10-Month Challenge
  • Tools, activities and resources you can use to promote Arts Award in your centre, or celebrate what you're already doing
  • A unique 10-Month Challenge adviser timeline planner
