Digital camera finds a good home

Liphook Heritage Centre have been the recipients of one of the Museum Development Office's two spare cameras that were offered through the newsletter. It's a volunteer-led centre, operated by the Bramshott & Liphook Preservation Society on behalf of the local community.

Ian Baker from the centre explained how the camera will benefit the organisation: 'Our visitors often have great stories of their past times and it will be lovely to have a photograph of them to go with their oral recollections. Also, our village is changing so rapidly we sometimes miss the change because we have to wait for someone to take the pictures for us.'

There is still one camera available to a good home. See the Help Hub for details of how to apply.
