Hampshire Big Theme 2016, Royal Blood. Will you take part?
The annual Hampshire Big Theme is an exciting collaborative programme of exhibitions, performances, installations, events and digital experiences led by Hampshire Cultural Trust.
Each one explores a topic inspired by a key anniversary or popular theme with a unique Hampshire twist!
The first Big Theme, entitled 1914, launched a five year programme of activities in 2014 that commemorates the centenary of the First World War. The 2015 theme is Dinofest. We are now planning for 2016 and beyond and Hampshire Cultural Trust would like your museum to be part of it…
2016 Big Theme
Royal Blood – Wealth, power and royalty in Hampshire through the ages.
This theme will explore the wealth and power of Royalty and royal connections with Hampshire. We will look at the events, places and objects that link the county with Royalty through the ages from battles to houses, from place names to hidden treasure.
What's in it for you?
There are many benefits for cultural organisations that take part in the Big Theme, such as:
• Joint marketing (upselling and cross-selling)
• Access to the promotional Big Theme digital platform
• Umbrella branding
• Opportunities for collaborations that may secure external funding
