Energy efficiency audits and grants for East Sussex businesses

Energy Efficiency East Sussex is a two year programme, funded by East Sussex County Council, designed to help businesses in the county improve the energy efficiency of their premises and reduce costs.

Energy Audits – for SMEs*  -  An Energy Audit will help identify areas at your premises where energy and cost savings can be achieved. The audit will take no more than half a day and you will receive a concise report with prioritised energy saving recommendations. Read more at:

Energy Efficiency Grants – for SMEs*  -  Grants of up to £1,000 are available to install energy saving measures. Example projects may include upgrading to LED lighting, installing heating controls, fitting insulation. No match funding is required, just a sensible project plan with quantifiable savings. * Is a museum an SME? An SME is defined as a small or medium sized business or social enterprise with fewer than 250 employees, a turnover less than £35 million and that is not owned by a group or company that does not meet these criteria.
