Schools & museums can make a documentary using free resources from 'Into Film'
Into Film is a film education charity that puts film at the heart of the educational and personal development of children and young people aged 5-19 across the UK.
Taking the lead from the BBC Two series, Britain's Greatest Generation, Into Film, BBC Learning, the BFI and the British Council invite you to explore and commemorate life in the UK 1930-60 with their documentary filmmaking project.
Using their free curriculum-linked resources and more, you can help 7-11 year olds delve into the history of their local area. The project will see them recording the stories and memories of the wartime generation by interviewing older members of their community. They will then produce short documentaries by pairing those interviews with curated archive film clips from the era before uploading their finished films to this website.
