Mary Rose Museum wins Hampshire Business Award for RBS Management Team of the Year

Portsmouth’s Mary Rose Museum has won the Hampshire Business Award for RBS Management Team of the Year, in competition with companies from across the county.
The ceremony took place at an exclusive dinner in the Winchester Guildhall, with proceedings hosted by BBC journalist Justin Webb, and supported by the CBI (Confederation of British Industry).

The RBS Management of the Year Award was accepted by Charles Barker, Director of Mary Rose Archaeological Services, on behalf of the Mary Rose Trust.

The award won by the Mary Rose Trust is given for effective team management and strong leadership.

Presenting the award, RBS Regional Director Dan Salanson said: “The management team have a clear vision to make the Mary Rose an international exhibition, overcoming the not insignificant hurdle of finding £35m of funding for this really ambitious project. The sheer scale of the achievement and its successful outcome are testament to the skills and leadership of the Mary Rose management team.”
