The Development Grant scheme supports museums to undertake development activities, enabling them to acquire the skills, capabilities and confidence they need to meet the challenges and demands of their work in the museums sector.
The scheme opens up opportunities for Kent & Medway museums to implement a specific developmental project, develop learning partnerships with other organisations, in ways that can provide truly transformative benefits.

How to Apply
The 2016-17 scheme is open from 1st May 2016. It will close on 31 December 2016 and all funded activities must be completed by 15 February 2017.
You can apply as a:
- MUSEUM - Application made on behalf of your museum organisation
- INDIVIDUAL - Application made on behalf of an individual member of staff or volunteer from an eligible museum organisation
- NETWORK - Application made on behalf of a network or partnership of eligible museum organisations
You can apply for up to £2,000. Grants will be distributed to successful applicants on a first come, first served basis.
