Digital Narratives project: National Motor Museum, Beaulieu
The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu took part in the 2014-15 Hampshire Solent Museum Development project 'Digital Narratives'. Their work focused on contributing to the Caravans and Charabancs project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The team applied the Digital Identity framework to highlight 400 charabanc images, using a combination of social media, sharing and networking sites to tell the stories about these images as well as offer behind-the-scenes access to museum staff.
Digital Narratives project: Mary Rose Museum
The Mary Rose Museum took part in the 2014-15 Hampshire Solent Museum Development project 'Digital Narratives'. They applied the Digital Identity framework to to conceive and implement the Print a Piece of History project, which connects social media engagement to a tangible outcome using 3D printing technology.
Digital Narratives project: Hampshire Cultural Trust
Hampshire Arts and Museums Service - subsequently Hampshire Cultural Trust - took part in the 2014-15 Hampshire Solent Museum Development project 'Digital Narratives'. They applied the Digital Identity framework to develop a narrative about local stories in order to promote the launch of the Bursledon Windmill, billed as the 200th birthday of the windmill.
Digital Narratives project: Jane Austen's House Museum, Hampshire
Jane Austen’s House Museum took part in the 2014-15 Hampshire Solent Museum Development project 'Digital Narratives' working with consultant Abhay Adhikari. They applied the Digital Identity framework to conceive and execute several focussed social media campaigns to promote projects and events in an integrated way. They now manage multiple social media channels and have a narrative supported by a clear and confident voice.
