Opportunities and training with a small coloured logo in the title, are those that have been organised, funded and facilitated by the South East Museum Development Programme.

Art UK invites you to take part in a free workshop as part of the Art UK Sculpture project.

Monday 1st April 2019

The training day is free and is open to staff and volunteers from collections taking part in the Art UK Sculpture project.

Run by Clare Mitchell of Mitchell Heritage, this workshop will give practical guidance on how to look after the sculpture in your collection. The training day includes the following elements: materials of sculpture, basic cleaning, labelling, handling sculpture, storage and display, environmental conditions and control, where to get more advice / when to call in a conservator, emergency planning.

Location – Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth

Date – Monday 1 April 2019 , 10am to 4pm
