Outputs, Outcomes and Impact Assessment, Thanet
Wednesday 19th September 2018
Time: 10:00 – 13:00 BST
Who should attend this course?
This half-day course is designed for those working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Kent (excluding Medway).
This course is for people who need to improve their applications to grant making trusts, in particular, by finding and presenting appropriate and convincing information about their organisations outputs, outcomes and impact. This course unravels the jargon around monitoring and evaluation and introduces delegates to academic sources of evidence and accredited outcome measurement tools that will significantly boost an organisations case for support.
Please note: Participants should bring a laptop or tablet to the event in order to access online resources.
Kathy Roddy is a qualified and experienced fundraising trainer who has spent more than 20 years in the voluntary sector, first as Executive Director of a national animal welfare organisation, then, since 2000, as a fundraising trainer and consultant. She is a member of, and holds, the Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising Management and has recently co-authored an MA module with the University of Kent Centre for Philanthropy on the ‘Art and Science of Fundraising’. Through both training and consultancy, Kathy has helped charities and voluntary groups raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
