Hampshire's Local Cultural Education Partnership Christmas Roundup

Wednesday 6th December 2017

Does your museum want to be part of a joined-up cultural education offer for Hampshire's children and young people? Then come along to our twilight event at Winchester School of Art Winchester School of Art on Wednesday 6 December 4.00pm – 5.30pm.

Hampshire's LCEP (Local Cultural Education Partnership)  is a network of cultural and youth partners working towards shared aims and positive outcomes for children and young people in the county. The steering group meets quarterly and locality groups meet in their areas regularly. See attached structure to find your local contact and feel free to get in touch for more information.

The event is a great opportunity to hear back from the Winchester School of Art students who ran youth consultation through Summer 2017 on the three Hampshire LCEP themes: Health & well-being; Aspiration; and Employability.

We will see a film of the delivery, hear their interpretation of the trends and feedback and then have an open discussion about how we respond together to the results.

This is a great opportunity for museums in the Hampshire locality to get involved in this exciting collaboration, find out more about what young people want from cultural provision and network with new arts partners.

There are also LCEPs in other parts of the South East including Southampton, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight and Brighton. To find out more contact Artswork South East Bridge to find out more: https://artswork.org.uk/tag/cultural-education-partnerships/
